Lahore (لاہور) is the second largest city of Pakistan with a rich cultural heritage and historical background. A city tour of Lahore will be arranged for the participants of the Regional Conference on 29th January, 2012. During this trip, the participants will visit the admired attractions of the city i.e. Jahangir Tomb, Wazir Khan Mosque and Wahga Border.

Tomb of Jahangir (جہا نگیر کا مقبرہ) is one of the famous historical places of the Lahore. The mausoleum is built for the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. It is located near the town of Shahdara, Lahore.

Wazir Khan Mosque (مسجد وزیر خان) is one of the prestigious historical mosques of the Lahore. It is described as “a mole on the cheek of Lahore”. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan had built it during his reign and which took seven years for its completion

Wahga (واہگہ) is located at the border connecting the cities Lahore in Pakistan and Amritsar in India. Lowering of the flags Ceremony at Wahga Border is the daily military practice of the Pakistani and Indian security forces. The ceremony takes place daily before the sun set. The spectacle of the ceremony attracts many visitors from both sides of the border, as well as the international tourists.
